Finished floors are easy to scratch, stain or dent while trades are still on site, furniture is moving in or a renovation is under way. Laying down a protective sheet, board or film before work starts keeps timber, tiles, vinyl and carpet covered until the job is done.
Rolls are sold by coverage, from 26.5m2 SupaBord Renovator Grade and 30m2 Contractor Grade up to 60m2 Multi Guard and 100m2 Carpet Saver film. Polycushion 4mm, VISY Guardboard and a 2mm protection roll are other options, along with woven poly and black builders film. For a rigid layer, lay down MDF sheets in 3mm, 9mm and 16mm or 3mm Corflute sheeting. SupaBord joint and edge tapes and 48mm masking tapes hold everything in place.
