A carpet job relies on more than the carpet itself, with gripper strips to stretch it tight, tape to join lengths and trims to finish edges where it meets another floor. This category covers those installation extras, plus protection film for newly laid carpet.
For fixing at the walls, Max Grip carpet smoothedge (gripper) comes in 25 and 32 sizes. Max Seam heat bond tapes include centre bead, silicon release, gold foil and dual bond versions, and Max Bond Cold Seam Tape joins lengths without an iron. To finish edges, napdown bars are made pinned or pinless in commercial or domestic styles, alongside Multi Base trims. Cover strips are offered in commercial, hammered, senior and rippled profiles, and diminishing transition strips in 2mm, 3mm and 5mm. Interface Intertac Plus is an adhesive for carpet tiles.
