Description
MDF 16mm x 2400mm x 1200mm Sheet is the heavier-duty option in the MDF range, giving cabinetry, shelving and furniture components genuine rigidity where a thinner panel would flex or need extra bracing. At 34.1kg per 2.88m² sheet, it’s noticeably heavier than the 9mm equivalent — a direct consequence of the same consistent 700kg/m³ density carried through a thicker panel.
That density is also why it holds screws so reliably across the whole sheet rather than just near the edges, and why its edge formation stays robust under repeated handling and machining. Like the rest of the range, it’s made from recycled wood fibres and machines cleanly with correct tooling, keeping splintering to a minimum during cutting and drilling.

- Fix and fasten — the consistent density gives reliable screw-holding across the full sheet.
- Finish — paint or laminate the smooth surface as required for the application.
Important Notes
- Not suitable for wet-area applications.
- Utility vehicle deliveries are limited to a total of 25 sheets due to the higher per-sheet weight.
- On-site assistance is required for all MDF sheet deliveries.
- Deliveries above the utility vehicle limit require crane truck or forklift handling, charged according to delivery location.
