Sponges, scourers and pads for grout clean-up and tile edge finishing. Choose hydro and tiler sponges to lift grout haze, hard sponges for epoxy grout, handled scouring pads and grout clean-up kits, or diamond hand pads for polishing tile edges.
Once grouting is done, the residue on the tile face has to be washed off before it dries into a stubborn film. Tiles cut on site also need their edges smoothed and polished so they sit neatly beside factory edges, especially on exposed corners and shelves.
Siri and DTA hydro sponges, along with DTA tilers and slaters and microfibre sponges, handle wash down after cement grout. Epoxy grout is stickier to clean, so the Raimondi Epoxy Grouting Hard Sponge 291 and a DTA triple pack of scouring pads with a handle suit that job. For larger floors, the DTA Boss and Siri Baby systems and Wash Boy handles with adhesive or velcro sponges cover more ground. Diamond pads used by hand bring cut edges to a smooth, polished finish.
