About Sand
The right sand makes the difference between mortar that holds together, concrete that sets properly and pavers that sit level. Each grade here suits a different job, from laying bricks and mixing concrete to bedding pavers and pipes.
Brick sand comes in Super White, White (Nyora) and Lang Lang Yellow, and its colour carries through to the finished mortar joint. Concrete Sand is for mixing concrete, while Packing Sand beds pavers and pipes. Double Washed Sand and Fine Wash Sand (Triple Wash) are cleaner grades for jobs that need less fine clay and silt.
