Protect IT 2mm Floor Protection is built to shield a finished floor during the period between installation and handover, when other trades are still working on site and the risk of impact damage or spills is highest. Combining a 2mm foam pad for impact resistance with a woven plastic top cover for spill resistance gives it a genuinely different protection profile from a single-layer product — the foam absorbs point loads and dropped tools, while the woven cover keeps liquids from soaking through to the floor beneath.
Being reusable across multiple jobs is a real practical and cost advantage over disposable protection sheeting, particularly for a builder or flooring contractor running protection on a regular sequence of jobs. The built-in 50mm overlapping adhesive tab speeds up installation on a large area, while KWIK550 Duct Tape gives an alternative joining method where the built-in tab isn’t suitable.

How to Apply
- Clean the floor — remove grit and debris before laying protection.
- Roll out the protection — position across the area needing coverage.

- Remove after works — lift the protection once the risk of damage has passed, and store for reuse on the next job.
