Common Questions

Building Materials FAQ

Can I collect building materials in store?

Yes. Doors, fibre cement sheeting and pine framing are supplied through our Keilor East partner and are collected there rather than delivered. You will see pick up as the only option at checkout for these items.

Are the doors ready to hang?

The flush doors and jambs are supplied hinged and latched, which means they are machined for hinges and a latch to suit a matching jamb. Tell us the handing when you order so the machining is on the correct side.

What sizes do the doors come in?

Standard heights are 2040mm and 2340mm, in widths from 620mm to 870mm. Jambs come in 2110mm and 2410mm to suit the two door heights.

Is the pine framing treated?

No. The MGP10 framing is untreated and kiln dried, intended for internal wall framing in protected locations. It is not suitable for in ground or weather exposed use.
