Description
Australian Builders Quick-Set Concrete is a blend of sand, cement and aggregate formulated to set in around 15 minutes, rather than the hours a standard concrete mix takes to firm up.
It suits fence posts, clothesline poles and letterboxes, where the job can be finished in one visit instead of leaving a braced post overnight.
It mixes like the standard Concrete Mix: just add water. The working time is short, so have the post positioned and braced before you mix, and mix only small batches you can place straight away.

Important Notes
- Wet cement is alkaline and can burn skin and eyes. Wear gloves, eye protection and a P2 mask, avoid breathing dust when opening or mixing, and wash it off skin promptly. See the Safe Work Australia guidance on cement and silica dust.
- Cement, sand and aggregate contain crystalline silica. Keep the material damp where you can, avoid breathing the dust, and wear a P2 mask if it is dry and dusty.
- Working time is short: prepare the job fully before mixing.
- Mix only what can be placed immediately.
- Store in dry conditions and use within the shelf life stated on the bag.
