Description

STAIN PROOF Premium Impregnating Sealer is a permanent-bonding impregnating sealer designed for premium stain protection, helping protect against efflorescence, picture framing, freeze-thaw damage and salt damage across a genuinely wide range of indoor and outdoor, residential and commercial applications. Its unique super-penetrating technology bonds permanently for long-lasting protection, backed by a 15-year written performance warranty when applied by a Stain-Proof Accredited Applicator and maintained per the written maintenance system.

Rated Class 5 for stain resistance under ISO 10545-14, it provides premium water and oil repellence while retaining the surface’s natural colour and finish rather than altering its appearance. Being super breathable, water vapour escapes freely from the treated material, preventing the harmful moisture build-up a film-forming sealer can trap inside — treated surfaces also dry quickly and stay easier to clean, even after heavy rain, and the formula stands up to commercial cleaning methods.

For softer, more porous materials like limestone, sandstone and travertine in a freeze-thaw or salt water environment, extra protection via Stain-Proof’s 40SK Consolidator and Water Repellent is recommended alongside this sealer, since those materials need the added consolidation that a standard impregnating sealer alone doesn’t provide. Suitable for building facades, floors, walls, countertops, showers, swimming pools, patios, garages, kitchens and entertaining areas.

Its permanent-bonding technology is designed to give up decades of protection from a single correctly applied treatment, rather than needing the annual reapplication some lighter sealers require to maintain performance.

Frequently asked questions

What does Class 5 stain resistance mean?

It’s the top result on the ISO 10545-14 stain resistance scale, meaning the treated surface offers premium water and oil repellence and the best achievable resistance to staining on that test.

Does it need to be reapplied often?

Its permanent-bonding technology is designed for long lasting protection, and a 15-year written performance warranty is available when applied by a Stain-Proof Accredited Applicator and maintained per the written maintenance system.

Is this sealer suitable for softer, more porous stone like limestone or sandstone?

Softer materials including limestone, sandstone and travertine in a freeze-thaw or salt water environment need extra protection — Stain-Proof recommends its 40SK Consolidator and Water Repellent for those specific conditions.
