Description

STAIN PROOF Colour Enhancing Sealer is the combination of a genuine colour enhancer and a premium stain sealer in one product, giving natural stone, masonry and other hard porous materials deep, long-lasting colour enrichment alongside water and oil-based stain protection. It’s rated Class 5 for stain resistance under ISO 10545-14 — the best possible result on that scale — and delivers greater than 98% reduction in 24-hour water uptake by the Rilem method, a genuinely strong result for a breathable sealer.

It works across a wide variety of porous surfaces — natural stone, clay and terracotta tiles and pavers, brick, concrete, polished concrete, terrazzo, encaustic tile and saltillo — suiting floors, walls, cladding, facades, countertops, patios, driveways, paths, garages, kitchens and entertaining areas, indoors or out. A genuine practical advantage is that additional coats can be applied at any time in the future to a cleaned surface to re-enhance the colour, without stripping the existing sealer first.

It retains the surface’s hardness and wet slip resistance rather than compromising either, and won’t flake, yellow, crack, blister or break down in high alkaline conditions, while also reducing concrete dusting. Being breathable, water vapour permeates freely and avoids moisture build-up inside the material. A 5-year performance warranty is available when applied by an Accredited Applicator, though once the surface has been enhanced, it cannot be restored back to its original, unenhanced look — testing first is genuinely important.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add another coat later to boost the colour further?

Yes — additional coats can be applied at any time in the future to a cleaned surface to re-enhance the colour, without needing to strip the existing sealer first.

What surfaces work with this sealer?

A wide variety of porous surfaces, including all types of natural stone, clay and terracotta tiles and pavers, brick, concrete, polished concrete, terrazzo, encaustic tile and saltillo.

Once enhanced, can the surface go back to its original look?

No — once enhanced, the treated surface cannot be restored back to the original look, so testing on a sample area first is essential before committing to the whole surface.
