Description
Environex Maestro is a disinfecting agent and stain remover built to treat the moss, mould, tannin, animal and leaf staining that commonly builds up on masonry pavers, walls and timber surfaces over time. Containing 12.5% weight-to-volume available chlorine, it doesn’t just lift visible staining but genuinely kills the spores responsible for moss and mould, addressing the underlying cause of regrowth rather than just the surface symptom.
Application is straightforward: diluted at 1 part Maestro to 5 parts water, it’s poured directly onto affected masonry pavers or applied with a mist spray container to vertical masonry walls, then left to soak in for around 30 minutes before being hosed off. A stiff brush or deck broom helps lift the remains of treated mould, and a repeat treatment is recommended where a total kill is needed on heavily affected areas.
Because it’s a genuine disinfectant rather than just a cosmetic cleaner, it addresses moss and mould at the spore level, which is what gives it real staying power against regrowth compared with a purely cosmetic stain remover. Sealing the treated area once it’s thoroughly dry is recommended for easier ongoing maintenance and to help resist future staining.
Because Maestro treats the root cause rather than just masking discolouration, it’s a genuinely more durable solution for outdoor masonry and timber than a purely cosmetic cleaner, which typically leaves the underlying moss or mould spores intact and regrowth following within weeks. Its concentrated 5-litre packaging also makes it economical for larger paved areas or extensive masonry walls where diluted product needs to stretch across real square metreage.
