Porous stone, tile, grout and concrete soak up water, oil and spills, which leads to staining and makes cleaning harder over time. Sealers soak into or coat the surface to limit that absorption, and the right choice depends on the material and the finish wanted.
Impregnating and penetrating sealers, such as STAIN PROOF Premium Impregnating Sealer and Waterbased Penetrating Sealer, are the usual choice for a natural finish, while colour enhancing sealers from Chemforce and STAIN PROOF deepen the tone of stone. Consolidators such as STAIN PROOF 40SK and Chemforce Fortifier Plus are for soft or weathered stone. Environex Sealers includes Premium Bluestone, Endure, Synergy and Tuscan TSL, and Concrete and Paving Sealers covers Auseal Curite concrete sealer and graffiti protection.
