Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer is a single pack, two-coat system formulated for wear and abrasion resistance on factory floors, car parks, driveways, garages, verandahs and concrete pavers. It resists mineral oils and petroleum fuels, and comes clear or in a wide range of colours, from charcoal and slate green to terracotta and sandstone. Apply it with good ventilation and away from flames, as its safety directions state. Auseal Curite Solvent, listed in the wider sealers range, thins Auseal solvent based sealers, cleans application equipment and helps soak grease and oil stains out of concrete before sealing.

How many coats does Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer need?
It is a two-coat system. Apply it to clean, dry concrete with good ventilation, and keep it away from flames as its safety directions state. Auseal Curite Solvent can be used beforehand to clean and degrease the concrete, and afterwards to clean rollers and spray equipment. Follow the label for coverage and drying times between coats.
Can I seal old or stained concrete?
Yes, once it is clean. Auseal Curite Solvent helps soak grease and oil stains out of concrete before sealing. For mineral deposits such as efflorescence, the white salty bloom on concrete and masonry, an acidic remover such as Chemforce TED Efflorescence Remover is used first. Test any cleaner on a small area and let the surface dry before sealing.
Will a coloured sealer change the look of concrete?
Yes. Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer comes clear or tinted in colours from charcoal and slate green to terracotta and sandstone. Tinted colours can refresh faded concrete or pavers, while the clear version keeps the existing colour. Try a small test area first, because the result depends on the texture and condition of the concrete.
