Description
Bedrock Double Washed Sand is a fine washed sand for bricklaying, rendering, pointing and bedding pavers. The bag is labelled Washed Sand. It is washed to reduce clay, silt and organic matter, which helps give a more consistent, workable mortar or render.
It is a fine sand, so it is not a substitute for a coarse concrete sand. The 20kg bag suits smaller jobs that do not need a loose load. Keep opened bags sealed and dry.

Important Notes
- Suited to fine bricklaying and rendering work, not a substitute for a coarser concrete-grade sand.
- Store dry and sealed to preserve cleanliness.
- Crushed stone and sand contain crystalline silica. Keep the material damp when spreading or sweeping, avoid breathing the dust, and wear a P2 mask if it is dry and dusty.
- When mixing with cement: cement is alkaline and can burn skin and eyes. Wear gloves, eye protection and a P2 mask, and wash it off skin promptly.
