Lauxes STI26 Slimline Tile Insert Grate is designed to take a tile insert matching the surrounding floor, so the grate itself all but disappears into the finished floor rather than standing out as a visible metal strip. At 100mm wide and 26mm deep, it’s one of the deeper options in the Lauxes tile insert range, suiting applications where a thicker tile or additional fall is needed.
Its no-bedding-required design and easy roll-out tray genuinely simplify both installation and ongoing maintenance — the tray lifts out for cleaning without needing to disturb the surrounding tile work. How to Apply
- Select the length — choose from 0.6m to 5.6m in 5mm increments, or plan for extension joiners on longer runs.
- Cut to size onsite — trim to the exact required length as needed.
- Position the spigot — select the correct 40mm, 50mm, 72mm or 80mm spigot for the waste outlet location.
- Install without bedding — set the grate into the prepared floor per standard tile-insert grate practice.
- Fit the tile insert — insert tile matching the surrounding floor into the grate body.
