Description

Stellmann Non-Slip Clear PRO is the clear non-slip system Stellmann installers have laid across more than 4,000 square metres of a single Docklands headquarters, from bathroom tiles to a loading dock ramp, and on ceramic, granite and concrete platforms at over 15 Brisbane busway stations. The Trades PRO Starter Bundle brings the same water-based two-pack polyurethane to site in 30 and 60 square metre quantities, with the primer, the cleaner and every application tool in the box.

Because the coating is transparent and satin, a treated hotel lobby, restaurant terrace or shopping-centre toilet block looks the way the designer intended while meeting the wet pendulum classifications in AS 4586:2013. Post-treatment laboratory tests on Stellmann projects have recorded P5 on transport platforms, pedestrian bridges and commercial kitchens, and P4 on restaurant counters, glass walkways and retail lobbies.

What’s in the Bundle

Every Trades PRO Starter Bundle ships as a complete kit: the coating, the primer, the cleaner and the application tools, so a crew can arrive on site and start. The 30 square metre bundle contains two 15 square metre kits, and the 60 square metre bundle contains four.

  • Non-Slip Clear PRO Part A and Part B in the P3, P4 or P5 rating you select, supplied as 15 square metre kits
  • Stellmann Clear Primer and Sealer
  • Stellmann Prep and Maintenance Cleaner, 5 litre concentrate
  • Stellmann PRO roller sleeves, a roller holder and a U-frame
  • Telescopic extension pole and a paint tray
  • Prep and protection gear: gloves, drop sheet and sponge
  • A Stellmann Cleaning Kit, with Prep and Maintenance Cleaner and a cleaning brush, to hand over to the client

  • Hardener B contains isocyanates; gloves and the Safety Data Sheet apply.

Frequently asked questions

Can Stellmann Non-Slip Clear PRO be spray applied?

Yes. Dilute the mixed Part A and B with about 4.5% water by weight (7.5% for the P5 mix) and apply with an HVLP sprayer such as a Graco HVLP 9.0 Pro or a conventional gun with a nozzle of at least 1.3 mm. Increase coverage to 80 g/m² when spraying to allow for overspray.

How is the P5 rating achieved on large areas?

P5 is the P4 coating with Stellmann P5 particles added at 3% by weight of the combined Part A and B. Stellmann recommends spray application for larger P5 areas so the particles sit evenly.

What surface preparation does a commercial floor need?

Clean with an alkaline cleaner such as Stellmann Prep and Maintenance Cleaner until all foaming stops, rinse and dry, then apply Stellmann Clear Primer diluted 1:1 with water. Record substrate temperature, moisture, humidity and dew point before starting, and keep air and substrate between 15 and 35 °C.
