Environex ENDURE Sealer
– 2, 10 and 20 Litres
Environex ENDURE Sealer is a unique blend of acrylic resins formulated especially for application to most masonry surfaces. Environex ENDURE Sealer highlights the natural colours and texture of the surface and provides protection against wear and staining.
APPLICATION
Ensure the surface is thoroughly dry.
The surface should have been left absolutely clean.
Should the surface require cleaning prior to sealing, a further drying period of 2 – 3 days should be allowed.
DO NOT USE SPIRITS OF SALTS/HYDROCHLORIC ACID ON SLATE SURFACES.
Newly laid pavers or stone surfaces should be left to dry for ~14 days prior to sealing.
Apply one thin coat of Environex ENDURE Sealer evenly using a brush, heavy duty sprayer or lambswool applicator ensuring no bubbles are trapped in the sealer.
DO NOT USE A ROLLER.
Allow to dry overnight.
1 litre of Environex ENDURE Sealer will cover approximately 7 – 15 sq metres per coat depending on the porosity of the surface being treated.
At least 2 coats of sealer are recommended for normal domestic use, allow at least up to 8 hours between coats (depending on ambient conditions) and 24 hours before heavy traffic.
Depending on the porosity of the surface and the desired level of gloss, additional coats may be applied.
(Note: A glossier finish may tend to accentuate scratch marks.)
Avoid walking on the floor for 12 hours after final coat.
Brushes may be cleaned in Environex CYCLONE Cleaner.
RETREATMENT
Depending on the extent of traffic, your floor may require resealing with ENDURE to remove scratching and scuff marks. This will bring your floor back to its original condition. Follow original sealing instructions. If the surface has been previously sealed with a polyurethane sealer, this must be completely removed using the appropriate paint stripper.
Resealing is required after approximately 12 – 24 months inside and 12 monthly outside depending on the amount of wear due to traffic, weathering and cleaning.
CAUTION
This product is highly flammable. Ensure adequate ventilation and no naked flames or smoking. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing vapour or spray mist.
