Description
Top Soil Sandy Loam is a free-draining topsoil with a sandy loam texture, a common general-purpose choice for gardens and landscaping. Sandy loam sits between sand, which drains quickly and holds little, and clay, which can stay wet and waterlog roots.
It suits filling new garden beds and levelling lawn areas, and it is commonly used under new turf. It can be used as-is for straightforward fill work, or improved with compost for garden beds.
It sits alongside Garden Blend Mix Soil and Farm Soil in the soil range, as the plain topsoil option.

- Working compost through it adds organic matter for garden bed use.
