A herringbone take on Le Parquet’s curated European Oak palette — a geometric pattern with a real sense of history and movement. That’s the character behind Toulouse-Herringbone, from Sunstar’s Le Parquet Herringbone range, with light tones and a traditional feel.
A European Oak timber board, 15mm thick, with a light brush matte finish and Tongue & Groove L+R installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Le Parquet Herringbone range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 1505-RZ Toulouse-Herringbone’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 4mm wear layer, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P3 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a Multi-Ply Engineered Core core with UV Cured surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.025 m² across 18 planks, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Allowance for Expansion — Timber expands and contracts with changing seasons and temperatures.
- Expansion Gaps — Provide a minimum 10mm gap around the entire perimeter including where it meets any vertical obstructions such as walls, fixed furnishings, plumbing penetrations and flooring transitions.
- Tropical Locations — In areas with extreme humidity (e.g., QLD), increase expansion gaps to a minimum of 15mm (see installation in Tropical locations technical note).
- Room Temperature — Maintain consistent room temperature before, during, and after installation.

Care & Maintenance
As required (weekly) the floors are suitable for mopping to ensure they remain clean and fresh, but again remember timber loves to absorb water, moisture can lead to major damage. Always keep the floor dry, use a spray mop to limit the moisture on the floor. The moisture is only to soften and loosen the dirt, let the mop do the work.
When using a mop and bucket, ensure it’s well rung out and the floor is drying immediately after, and moisture isn’t been left on the floor. Avoid spills as you go and dry immediately if you do.
Never use a steam mop, or caustic cleaning agents.
