The same curated European Oak character as Le Parquet, laid in a timeless herringbone pattern that adds a sense of history, motion and prestige. That’s the character behind Orleans-Herringbone, from Sunstar’s Le Parquet Herringbone range, with warm tones and a mid-century modern feel.
A European Oak timber board, 15mm thick, with a light brush matte finish and Tongue & Groove L+R installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Le Parquet Herringbone range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 1504-RZ Orleans-Herringbone’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 4mm wear layer, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P3 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a Multi-Ply Engineered Core core with UV Cured surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.025 m² across 18 planks, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Ventilation & Humidity — Timber subfloors should be well ventilated and meet building regulations for humidity. Concrete subfloors should not exceed 4.8% moisture.
- Floating Floor — Use a 2-3mm foam underlay with a taped moisture barrier, or a 3-10mm rubber underlay as needed.
- Direct Stick — Follow adhesive supplier guidelines to form suitable moisture barrier depending on subfloor. Different Adhesives require different steps.
- Maximum Temperature — Never exceed 28°C.
