Description
Engineered European Oak with 1.2mm Veneer, Budget without Compromise Tulka 12mm carries that through in Sunstar’s Oak Classics – 12mm Builders range, with warm tones and a modern feel.
A European Oak timber board, 12mm thick, with a light brush matte finish and Droplock installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Oak Classics – 12mm Builders range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 032 Tulka’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 1.2mm wear layer, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P3 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a Multi-Ply Engineered Core core with UV Cured surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.888 m² across 8 planks | 30% nested lengths, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Sunstar’s Engineered Timber products are suitable for direct stick or floating floor installation.
- (Herringbone products Direct stick installation is recommended).
- When installing direct stick, always follow adhesive supplier recommendations, taking care to select the right adhesive based on the subfloor type. And then select the correct trowel size and type to suit the adhesive, incorrect selection of trowel can lead to adhesive and moisture barrier failure.
- Allowance for Expansion — Timber expands and contracts with changing seasons and temperatures.

Care & Maintenance
It’s always important to keep a floor clean, minor dirt and grit can accelerate the wear of coatings.
Use mats both inside and outside of doors leading outside to clean shoes and remove debris before it ends up on the floor. Mats should be kept clean. (Where installed in commercial premises it’s recommended foot traffic passes over a 3.0metre mat).
Recommend you take your shoes off and enjoy the floor under your feet, this will help keep the surface clean. (Always remove shoes with spikes and sharp heels)
