A European Oak timber board, 14mm thick, with a light brush matte finish and Droplock installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Oak Classics – Wide Board range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, Wide Board Flooring – HW024-Wide Wyan-Wide’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 2mm wear layer, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P3 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a Multi-Ply Engineered Core core with UV Cured surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.508 m² across 6 planks | 30% nested lengths, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- To reduce expansion gaps the following steps must be taken:
- Acclimatized timber in boxes in for 48hours in the room prior to installation.
- Consistent room temperature must be maintained during installation and for 72 hours thereafter.
- Windows must have window coverings and be closed during installation and for 72 hours thereafter.

We will always strive to improve the processes from design to floor. Then once installed you have the opportunity to take over and look after your floor to ensure the longest lifespan. Whether you’re happy for it to age and develop more character to tell a story of your home, or you want to keep it as close as possible to a fresh floor, there’s some guidance to keep in mind:
