A curated European Oak palette with real character, laid in long straight boards that open up a room and let the natural grain do the talking. Metz carries that through in Sunstar’s Le Parquet range, with light tones and a hamptons feel.
A European Oak timber board, 15mm thick, with a light brush matte finish and Tongue & Groove installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Le Parquet range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 1503 Metz’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 4mm wear layer, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P3 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a Multi-Ply Engineered Core core with UV Cured surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 1.805 m² across 5 planks | 30% nested lengths, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Timber and trims maybe caulked: To allow for floor to fully settle and bond, caulking must be complete minimum 24hours after installation.
- Pallet — Store on flat pallet at all times.
- Storage — Keep in original packaging till ready to install and keep away from windows and moisture sources. Do not store in damp areas like garages and basements
- Temperature — Aim to store at room temperature at all times.

Care & Maintenance
As required (weekly) the floors are suitable for mopping to ensure they remain clean and fresh, but again remember timber loves to absorb water, moisture can lead to major damage. Always keep the floor dry, use a spray mop to limit the moisture on the floor. The moisture is only to soften and loosen the dirt, let the mop do the work.
When using a mop and bucket, ensure it’s well rung out and the floor is drying immediately after, and moisture isn’t been left on the floor. Avoid spills as you go and dry immediately if you do.
Never use a steam mop, or caustic cleaning agents.
