Description
Sikafloor Level Ultra is a premium, fibre-reinforced self-levelling and smoothing compound applied from 1mm up to a substantial 50mm in a single application, covering both a thin skim coat and a genuine level-up job with one product. Its high flexural and compressive strength, developing from 15-17MPa at one day to 30-33MPa at 28 days, gives it real structural performance underneath subsequent flooring or coatings.
Speed is the other standout figure: tiles or stone can go down after just 5-6 hours at 23°C, and moisture-sensitive flooring after 7-8 hours — genuinely fast for a fibre-reinforced compound at this performance level. Being underfloor-heating suitable and rated at just 1 gram per litre VOC, Green Star certified, makes it a genuinely low-emission choice without trading away speed or strength.

Where to Use
- Underlayment for commercial and domestic floor coverings
- Ahead of Sikafloor epoxy or polyurethane colour coatings in light-to-medium traffic areas
- Levelling new or old concrete substrates, internally or externally
- Underfloor heated substrates
How to Apply
- Mix — combine with 4.8-5 litres of clean, cool water per 20kg bag.
- Apply within the pot life — 20 minutes at 23°C; spread by pump or manual application.
- Allow to set — initial set at 75 minutes, with drying time depending on thickness, temperature, airflow and humidity.
- Test moisture — testing moisture content before applying flooring is recommended.
- Prepare before coating — if applying Sikafloor coatings, mechanically prepare (sanding, grinding or shot blasting) to create a bonding profile.
Important Notes
- Store unopened bags for up to 12 months in a cool, dry, weatherproof environment, off the floor and out of direct sunlight.
- Drying times vary with thickness, temperature, air flow and relative humidity — increased airflow helps in cooler conditions.
- Refer to the full datasheet for substrate-specific application guidance.
< That flexibility genuinely simplifies material ordering on a job with uneven substrate levels, since one product and one delivery covers both the thin and thick sections of the same floor rather than needing two different levelling compounds on site. Testing residual moisture before installing flooring over Sikafloor Level Ultra remains good practice even given its fast-drying formulation, since actual drying time still depends on ambient conditions rather than the product alone. Ordering enough material for the full pour in one delivery is also worth planning for on a larger job, since matching a second batch's consistency exactly to the first can introduce a visible line if the pour has to be split.
A genuinely single-application product across such a wide thickness range — 1mm to 50mm — removes a scheduling risk that comes with a levelling compound rated for a narrower band: needing to plan a second pour, and coordinate a second trade visit, purely because part of the floor needed more build-up than the first product could handle in one pass. Sikafloor Level Ultra is built specifically to avoid that split-pour scenario on a genuinely uneven substrate.
