Description
Sika’s Sikafloor-215 Rapid Screed is a pre-blended, fast-drying engineered screed for concrete floors. Supplied as a grey powder with aggregate already blended in, it only needs clean water on site, which keeps mixing consistent and cuts the guesswork out of proportioning sand and cement by hand.
The rapid-drying formulation is aimed at trade jobs where the floor needs to move on to the next trade quickly, without waiting out a traditional sand-and-cement screed’s longer cure. Because it’s pre-blended rather than site-batched, the same mix ratio and aggregate grading applies from bag to bag, which helps keep a large floor consistent across multiple batches mixed by different crew members over the course of a pour.

How to Apply
- Prepare the substrate — the concrete floor must be fully cured, structurally sound, clean, dry and free of surface contaminants.
- Mix — add 1.9 to 2.1 litres of clean, cool water per 20kg bag and mix continuously for 2 to 3 minutes to a semi-dry, trowel-workable consistency.
- Place within the pot life — work the screed within 20-30 minutes of mixing.
- Allow to dry — drying time depends on thickness, temperature, air flow and humidity; increase air flow to speed drying in cooler weather.
- Clean up — clean all tools and equipment with warm water while the product is still wet.
