Description
Megapoxy 206 ULTRA is a two-component, 100% solids, solvent-free flowable epoxy grout built for civil engineering work — pile repair and restoration, and setting anchor bolts are the applications the datasheet specifically calls out. Being hydrophilic and water-displacing sets it apart from a general-purpose tiling epoxy grout: it’s formulated to perform in situations where standard grout would struggle with residual moisture in the substrate.
Cured compressive strength of 120MPa, tested to ASTM D695, is genuinely high-strength grout territory, described on its own datasheet as superior to concrete. That strength is what makes it suitable for structural civil work rather than decorative or light-duty grouting.

Where to Use
- Pile repair and restoration in civil engineering
- Setting anchor bolts
- Structural grouting where high compressive strength is required
- Applications where standard grout struggles with residual substrate moisture
How to Apply
- Measure by volume — combine 5 parts Part A with 1 part Part B.
- Mix — by hand or mechanically until a uniform grey colour is achieved throughout.
- Pour or place — the flowable formulation is designed to displace water and flow into the target area.
- Allow to cure — cure time depends on ambient temperature, from 12 hours at 35°C up to 48 hours at 15°C.
Important Notes
- Cure time is temperature-dependent — colder site conditions mean a significantly longer wait before the grout reaches usable strength.
- This is a civil engineering grout rated for structural applications, not a decorative tiling grout.
- Kit sizes are supplied pre-proportioned at the correct 5:1 ratio; do not split a kit or estimate a partial mix by eye.
The hydrophilic, water-displacing property is the detail that separates this from a general epoxy grout: most epoxies are hydrophobic and will fail to bond properly if the substrate is damp, which is a real constraint on marine piles, below-grade anchor points and other civil work where completely dry conditions aren’t achievable. Megapoxy 206 ULTRA is formulated to actively displace residual water at the bond line rather than being repelled by it, which is what makes it viable for pile repair and anchor bolt setting in the first place. Combined with its 120MPa cured compressive strength, that gives it a genuine structural-repair role rather than a cosmetic or light-duty one — it’s specified where the repaired or grouted element needs to carry real load again, not just look sealed.
