Built for rubber athletic tracks first and general resilient flooring second, Adesilex G19’s epoxy-polyurethane chemistry shrugs off forklift traffic, frequent washing and a -40°C to +100°C in-service swing.

Description

Adesilex G19 is a two-component epoxy-polyurethane adhesive built for the more demanding end of resilient and textile flooring installation — rubber athletic tracks, multisport flooring on asphalt, and recycled rubber shock-absorbent flooring in playgrounds are all applications the datasheet specifically calls out. Being genuinely tough and elastic rather than just strong, it holds up to extreme temperatures from solar radiation, intense mechanical stress from forklifts and lift trucks, and frequent washing where floor coverings aren’t welded or sealed at the joints.

Setting time is temperature-dependent, ranging from 4 hours at +30°C out to 36 hours at +5°C — a real consideration when scheduling a job in cooler conditions. Once cured, it performs across an unusually wide in-service temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, reflecting its use on exterior sports surfaces exposed to genuine seasonal extremes.

Where to Use

  • Rubber athletic tracks and multisport flooring on asphalt
  • Recycled rubber shock-absorbent flooring in playgrounds
  • Indoor sports flooring, including over waterproofed fibreglass underlays
  • General-purpose resilient and textile flooring on non-absorbent or moisture-sensitive substrates

How to Apply

  1. Mix — blend Component A and B at 94:6 with a mechanical mixer until an even, coloured paste forms.
  2. Spread within the open time — apply within 60 minutes, matching trowel size to substrate flatness and backing type.
  3. Lay the flooring — press firmly for good transfer to the backing.
  4. Allow to cure — respect the temperature-dependent setting time; keep traffic light until 12-24 hours have passed.

Important Notes

  • Component A is irritant to eyes and skin; both components may cause sensitisation on contact.
  • Fresh adhesive removes with alcohol; once hardened, removal is mechanical or with Pulicol 2000.
  • Stable for at least 24 months in original, sealed packaging.
  • For professional use only.

The temperature-dependent setting curve is worth planning around on a real job: at +30°C, Adesilex G19 sets in as little as 4 hours, but that stretches out to a full 36 hours at +5°C — a nine-fold difference that can turn a same-day install into an overnight wait if the site is cold. Its wide in-service range, from -40°C to +100°C once fully cured, is what lets it handle exterior rubber athletic surfaces through both winter frost and summer heat without the bond itself becoming the weak point.
