Description
Cement Australia Off White Cement is a light-coloured cement that conforms to AS 3972 Type HE (high early strength). It gives a lighter, brighter finish than standard grey cement and suits the addition of oxides for a coloured finish.
Cement Australia lists it for decorative DIY work, tiling, mortar, render, polished flooring, precast facades, ornamental work, concrete slabs and driveways. It is mixed with sand, and with aggregate for concrete, like any cement.
The colour of the finished work can vary due to natural differences in raw materials. Pair it with light-coloured sand and test a small batch before a large area.

How to Apply
- Test a sample batch: check the finished colour against the look you want before a full application.
- Combine with sand: and aggregate for concrete, at the ratio the job calls for.
- Add oxide if required: mix it evenly through the dry materials before adding water.
- Add water gradually: mix to a workable, even consistency.
- Place, finish and cure: use before the mix begins to set and follow standard curing practice.
Important Notes
- Wet cement is alkaline and can burn skin and eyes. Wear gloves, eye protection and a P2 mask, avoid breathing dust when opening or mixing, and wash it off skin promptly. See the Safe Work Australia guidance on cement and silica dust.
- Cement dust can contain crystalline silica. Avoid breathing the dust, and wear a P2 mask when opening and mixing bags.
- Colour results may vary due to natural differences in raw materials. Test a sample batch first.
