Description
Packing Sand is a coarse, general-purpose sand for packing and levelling. It is used to fill gaps and build a stable base for pavers and bricks, to pack around posts, pipes and tanks, and to bring low spots up to level before a finished surface goes down.
It is not graded for concrete or mortar, which keeps it economical. Use Concrete Sand for concrete and a brick sand for bricklaying.
Loose fill settles, so place deeper fills in layers and compact each one, then check the compacted level before the finish goes on.
