A herringbone take on Prism — lasting style, genuine timber feel, with the added movement of a broad herringbone pattern. Radiant Blackbutt carries that through in Sunstar’s Prism Herringbone range.
A hybrid board, 8mm thick, with an embossed in register finish and Angle To Angle installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Prism Herringbone range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 825-RZ Radiant Blackbutt’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 0.5mm wear layer, a 6-Star AAAC Rating Achieved Impact rating (L’nT,w 38 dB) in field testing acoustic rating and P4 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on an SPC core with Ceramic surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 1.13 m², making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Ventilation & Humidity — Timber subfloors should be well ventilated and meet building regulations for humidity. Concrete subfloors should not exceed 4.8% moisture.
- The subfloor must be a smooth and flat surface free of deflection Flooring installed on top of an uneven floor may lead to noise, movement and result in failure of the locking mechanism.
- Maximum Temperature — Never exceed 28°C.
- Pre-Installation: Run heating at desired temperature for at least: one week, then turn off and allow subfloor to cool for 2-3 days.

Care & Maintenance
Multi-purpose cleaners should not be used on floors.
In the event of minor damage there’s a few steps that you can take.
Stains and marks — Stubborn stains can be removed with care using methylated spirits on a damp cloth. After removing clean all the methylated spirits from the surface using a fresh damp cloth.
