A Blackwood timber board, 14mm thick, with a smooth matte finish and 5G or T&G installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Australian Hardwood – Naturals Range range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, Naturals Range Flooring – HB504 Blackwood 190mm’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 3mm wear layer, a 4 Star acoustic rating and P4 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a Multi-Ply Engineered Core core with UV Cured surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Ventilation & Humidity — Timber subfloors should be well ventilated and meet building regulations for humidity. Concrete subfloors should not exceed 4.8% moisture.
- Floating Floor — Use a 2-3mm foam underlay with a taped moisture barrier, or a 3-10mm rubber underlay as needed.
- Direct Stick — Follow adhesive supplier guidelines to form suitable moisture barrier depending on subfloor. Different Adhesives require different steps.
- Underfloor Heating is not suitable for Australian Hardwood: Sunstar’s Engineered Timber products are suitable for direct stick or floating floor installation. 5G is reccomended for Floating Floor

Care & Maintenance
Bona Wood Floor Cleaner Peerless: JAL Versadet
When using other cleaning products ensure they are neutral, non-abrasive and don’t use oil-based soaps, or polishes as these will create a residue which can be difficult to remove.
Multi-purpose cleaners should not be used on floors.
