Oatlands brings real timber’s authentic charm into an easy-care luxury vinyl format. Cheshire carries that through in Sunstar’s Oatlands range, with light tones and a bohemian feel.
An LVP board, 2mm thick, with a matte finish and Direct Stick installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Oatlands range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, OAT0689 Cheshire’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 0.3mm wear layer, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P4 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on a PVC Core core with PUR Coating surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 3.671 m² across 16 planks, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Leveling — Subfloor is to be levelled and meet tolerances In accordance with AS1884
- Ventilation & Humidity — Timber Subfloors should be maximum 10- 14% moisture
- Concrete Subfloors should be maximum 80% RH NOTE: For testing methods, please see AS:1884
- Maximum Temperature — Never exceed 26°C and ensuring suitable direct stick adhesive is used.

Care & Maintenance
If exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods timber can also suffer more serious issues such as minor cracking. The floors are designed for an indoor surface and need to be kept in comfortable living temperatures. Excessive heat, humidity and fluctuations in temperature can cause the floor to distort.
Window protection such as blinds, window tinting or external shading to limit direct sunlight is required to ensure the floor is protected from prolonged direct sun exposure. Use heating and cooling to keep the ambient temperature between 10-30°C and moderate humidity between 35-75% particularly in the more extreme climates of Australia. In Northern Australia take time to understand the settings of your heating and cooling to manage humidity.
It’s always important to keep your floor clean, minor dirt and grit can accelerate the wear of coatings.
