Description
The Seamless Transition Cover Trim-Flat (MJ42) provides a clean, minimalist way to cover expansion and control joints in like flooring materials, where the joint needs to be bridged and supported without drawing attention to itself. At just 37mm wide, its narrow profile is sized to adequately cover and support control joints of most common widths while still delivering excellent slip resistance across the covered joint.
Rather than being fixed directly, the trim push-clicks onto a separate Multi-Height Base, which comes in three height ranges — 5.5-9.2mm, 9.0-12.7mm and 12.0-15.7mm — so the base can be matched to the actual depth of the joint being covered before the flat cover trim clicks into place on top. That two-part system also makes future access to the joint straightforward, since the cover trim can be unclipped without disturbing the base.

How to Apply
- Measure the joint depth — select the Multi-Height Base range that matches the joint.
- Fix the base — install the Multi-Height Base into the joint per standard trim-fixing practice.
- Cut the cover trim to length — trim the 3.3m length to suit the run.
- Push-click the cover trim into place — fit the flat cover trim onto the installed base until it clicks securely.
