A hybrid board, 8mm thick, with an embossed in register finish and 5G Click installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Prism range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 825 Radiant Blackbutt’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 0.5mm wear layer, a 6 Star acoustic rating and P4 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on an SPC core with Ceramic surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.1 m², making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Levelling — Limit rises and falls to a maximum of 3mm over a 2000mm radius. Smooth imperfections to ensure a maximum 1mm deviation over 250mm area.
- Cement Joints between tiles or other gaps of more than 2mm in depth & width should be levelled. Concrete subfloor highpoints can be grinded down, dipped areas can be filled with a suitable floor levelling compound.
- Ventilation & Humidity — Timber subfloors should be well ventilated and meet building regulations for humidity. Concrete subfloors should not exceed 4.8% moisture.
- The subfloor must be a smooth and flat surface free of deflection Flooring installed on top of an uneven floor may lead to noise, movement and result in failure of the locking mechanism.

Care & Maintenance
The natural movement of the flooring in changing temperatures should be allowed for by the installer with small expansion gaps to the perimeter of the floor hidden under skirting boards or trims. Care after install should also be taken not to compromise that natural movement, never fix the flooring in place using adhesives such as caulking.
Also, never drill fixtures through the floor without allowing for floor movement.
It’s always important to keep a floor clean, minor dirt and grit can accelerate the wear of coatings.
