Description
Prism is built for homes that want lasting style without the constant worry, in a long, wide plank that opens up a room, with the real look and feel of timber and the peace of mind of Sunstar Hybrid Flooring. Lucent carries that through in Sunstar’s Prism range.
A hybrid board, 8mm thick, with an embossed in register finish and 5G Click installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Prism range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 821 Lucent’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 0.5mm wear layer, a 6 Star acoustic rating and P4 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on an SPC core with Ceramic surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.1 m², making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

Care & Maintenance
Tables, chairs, and sofas are often moved back and forth with extreme point loads that can lead to accelerated wear and tear of the coatings or scratching in localised areas. Under legs use felt pads, rugs can also be used in some locations where style can meet practicality, making sure to avoid rugs with rubber backings as these can cause staining.
Even furnishings that aren’t moved often should have a suitable no scratch surface in contact with the flooring.
Under desk chairs or other wheeled furnishings use a non- staining mat and rubber casters. Although be aware rubber will cause staining to the surface of the floor over time, so again select mats without rubber backing.
