Description
Easy-care hybrid flooring styled with the beauty of HD natural timber. Fairhaven carries that through in Sunstar’s Maxi Smooth Finish range, with light tones and a traditional feel.
A hybrid board, 7mm thick, with an ultra matte smooth finish and Unilin Click installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Maxi Smooth Finish range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 916 Fairhaven’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 0.5mm wear layer, an AC4 Light Commercial rating, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P4 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on an SPC core with Ceramic surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.1sqm across 5 planks, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured. With 10 pattern variations across the boards, the floor avoids an obviously repeating look once laid across a larger area.

Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Boards should be mixed on the floor and staggered to meet a visually pleasing design.
- Allowance for Expansion — Hybrid Flooring expands and contracts with changing seasons and temperatures.
- Expansion Gaps — Provide a minimum 10mm gap around the entire perimeter including where it meets any vertical obstructions such as walls, fixed furnishings, plumbing penetrations and flooring transitions.
- Product Temperature — Product should always be brought to room temperature prior to installation.
- Unilin system locking process – Unilin locking system guide

Care & Maintenance
The natural movement of the flooring in changing temperatures should be allowed for by the installer with small expansion gaps to the perimeter of the floor hidden under skirting boards or trims. Care after install should also be taken not to compromise that natural movement, never fix the flooring in place using adhesives such as caulking.
Also, never drill fixtures through the floor without allowing for floor movement.
It’s always important to keep a floor clean, minor dirt and grit can accelerate the wear of coatings.
