Adare’s laminate flooring brings a bold, larger-than-life style into the home. That’s the character behind Forest Oak, from Sunstar’s Adare range, with dark tones and a mid-century modern feel.
A laminate board, 12mm thick, with a super matte finish and Uniclic installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Adare range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, ADA128 Forest Oak’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — an AC4 Light Commercial rating, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P2 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on an Ultra HDF Core core with Aluminium Oxide – 72 Hour Water Resistant Surface surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.13 m² across 5 planks, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Mix & Stagger — Mix boards and stagger them for a pleasing design.
- Assess During Installation — Do not install faulty or damaged boards.
- Clean Surface — Ensure the subfloor is free of debris and structurally sound.
- Leveling — Limit rises and falls to a maximum of 3mm over a 1000mm radius. Smooth imperfections to ensure a maximum 1mm deviation over 250mm area.

Care & Maintenance
Under desk chairs or other wheeled furnishings use a non- staining mat and rubber casters. Although be aware rubber will cause staining to the surface of the floor over time, so again select mats without rubber backing.
Be aware like your skin timber can tan in the sun, timber naturally oxidizes in the sun and coatings fade, this is a natural ageing process of a natural product. This should be managed by moving furnishings from time to time to avoid uneven colour changes.
If exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods timber can also suffer more serious issues such as minor cracking. The floors are designed for an indoor surface and need to be kept in comfortable living temperatures. Excessive heat, humidity and fluctuations in temperature can cause the floor to distort.
