Description
Soudal T Rex Floor and Wall is a high-quality, neutral, elastic 1-component construction adhesive based on SMX hybrid polymer, built for universal adhesion across floors, walls, tiles, decorative lathes and inox panels. Its ability to bond most common substrates even when slightly wet is a genuine practical advantage on real job sites, where a perfectly dry substrate isn’t always achievable on schedule.
At 750% elongation at break and an elastic recovery greater than 75%, it stays genuinely flexible once cured rather than becoming brittle, which matters for substrates subject to normal building movement. Being EC1 PLUS R certified for very low emissions, and free of isocyanates, solvents, halogens and acids, makes it a genuinely low-hazard adhesive to work with, and it can be painted wet-on-wet with waterborne paints for a faster finishing sequence.

Where to Use
- Horizontal applications: floors, tiles, carpet
- Vertical applications: walls, wall tiles, decorative lathes, inox panels
- Bonding building materials onto porous and non-porous surfaces
- Substrates that are slightly wet
How to Apply
- Prepare the substrate — ensure it is structurally sound and free of loose material.
- Apply the adhesive — spread with a suitable trowel, typically at 700-900 g/m² with a B3 notch.
- Position the material — press firmly into place within the working time before skin formation begins (approx. 10 minutes).
- Allow to cure — do not load the bonded surface for 24-48 hours.
Important Notes
- Good resistance to water, aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, grease, and diluted inorganic acids and alkalis.
- Poor resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
- Store in original unopened packaging for 12 months, between +5°C and +25°C.
Being able to bond to a slightly wet substrate is a genuinely rare capability among construction adhesives, most of which require a fully dry surface to achieve proper adhesion. On a real renovation site where drying times don’t always line up neatly with the trade schedule, that tolerance can be the difference between waiting an extra day for a substrate to dry out and getting straight on with the job. Combined with its wide -40°C to +90°C service range, it’s built to handle both the unpredictability of a live construction site and the long-term thermal cycling a finished installation will see for years afterward.
