Description

Megapoxy PM DuoMix Cartridge is a non-sag, VOC-free two-part epoxy paste supplied in a 600ml twin-cartridge dispenser, built for both bonding and filling and repair work across concrete, stone, metal and ceramics. Being non-sag on vertical and overhead surfaces is a genuine practical advantage for filling holes or cracks in a wall or ceiling, where a fluid epoxy would simply run out before curing.

Properly mixed, it won’t stain or discolour white or light-coloured marble and ceramics — a real consideration for visible repair work, since a lower-grade epoxy can leave a yellowed halo around a repaired crack that’s more obvious than the original damage. It also adheres and cures under adverse cold or damp conditions, and retains good strength after prolonged water immersion, broadening where it can be used beyond a controlled indoor workshop environment.

Where to Use

  • Bonding precast concrete, metal to metal or concrete, natural stone, bricks, ceramics and compressed cement sheet
  • Filling and repairing concrete pipes, tanks, fibreglass articles, floors, stairs and columns
  • Flush-filling countersunk screws in fibre-cement sheet
  • Cold or damp conditions, and applications requiring good water-immersion strength retention

How to Apply

  1. Prepare the surface — ensure metal, concrete and stone contact surfaces are clean and free of oil, dust and contaminants; clean metal with acetone.
  2. Dispense equal parts — measure equal amounts of Part A and Part B onto a non-porous, flat mixing surface.
  3. Mix — fold Part A over Part B and work in a zig-zag motion, scraping the underside to fully combine, until streak-free and uniform in colour.
  4. Apply within the work time — use within 45-60 minutes; the non-sag paste holds its position on vertical or overhead surfaces.
  5. Allow to cure — 24 hours at 25°C before further finishing.

Important Notes

  • Only mix a quantity that can be used within the working time.
  • Uncured product can be cleaned with Megapoxy Thinners.
  • Once cured, it can be machined, sanded and polished to a fine finish.
  • Wear appropriate PPE including eyewear, gloves and clothing when handling.

The cartridge format is a genuine convenience over a traditional tub-and-spatula two-part epoxy: dispensing equal amounts from two separate containers by eye is where a lot of mixing errors creep in on smaller repair jobs, while a matched twin-cartridge dispenser (used with the correct applicator gun) delivers both parts in the right ratio automatically. For a tradesperson doing frequent small filling and bonding jobs rather than one large pour, that consistency can matter more than the raw cure strength figures on the datasheet.

Frequently asked questions

What can Megapoxy PM DuoMix Cartridge bond and repair?

It bonds precast concrete, metal to metal or concrete, natural stone, bricks, ceramics and compressed cement sheet, and fills and repairs concrete pipes and tanks, fibreglass articles, concrete floors, stairs and columns, and countersunk screws in fibre-cement sheet.

How long does it take to cure?

A 45-minute work time and a 24-hour cure time at 25°C — mix only what can be used within that working window.

Will it stain light-coloured stone?

No — properly mixed, it will not stain or discolour white or light-coloured marble and ceramics, which matters for visible repair or filling work on pale natural stone.
