Description
Soudal T-Rex Power Fast Grab Adhesive is a versatile, high strength adhesive and sealant offering genuine 1 second immediate grab, with an incredible high-end strength of 320kg per 10cm² once fully cured. Built on Soudal’s own SMX Polymer technology, it’s engineered to adhere even to damp surfaces — a real advantage on renovation or outdoor work where a perfectly dry substrate isn’t always achievable.
That fast grab reduces the need for initial clamping or support while the adhesive cures, genuinely speeding up work bonding panels, profiles and other pieces to common substrates like wood, MDF and chipboard. It remains elastic and very sustainable after full cure, with high shear strength and no primer needed on most substrates, and it contains no isocyanates or silicones, giving it good weather and UV resistance without an unpleasant odour during application.
Available in a 290ml cartridge across white, black, grey, quick silver and beach sand, or as a 600ml sausage in white, it can be painted with water-based systems once cured, though a compatibility test is recommended given the range of paints and varnishes available. Chemical resistance is good against salt water, aliphatic solvents, hydrocarbons and diluted mineral acids and alkalis, but poor against aromatic solvents, concentrated acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Because it can be painted over with water-based systems once cured, it also suits jobs where the finished bond line needs to blend into a painted surface rather than staying visible as a raw adhesive bead.

Where to Use
- Elastic bonding of panels, profiles and pieces on wood, MDF and chipboard
- Sealing and bonding in building and construction
- Structural bonding in car and container industries
How to Apply
- Prepare the substrate — rigid, clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
- Prime if required — porous surfaces in water-loaded applications with Primer 150, non-porous with a Soudal activator or cleaner.
- Apply with a caulking gun — manual or pneumatic.
- Assemble immediately — leveraging the 1 second grab to reduce the need for propping.
- Finish before skinning — with a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution.
Important Notes
- Cannot be used as a glazing sealant or for bonding aquariums.
- Not suitable for continuous water immersion applications.
- Not recommended for PE, PP, PTFE, bituminous substrates, copper or copper-containing materials.
