Description
Single-part MS adhesives removed the two biggest annoyances of vinyl installation: mixing, and the race against a pot life. Max Bond MS360 is that kind of product, a one-part MS polymer adhesive for PVC commercial and domestic sheet vinyl, LVT and LVP.
It also takes sanded-back rubber flooring, linoleum and artificial grass, and it carries good plasticiser resistance along with protection against biodegradation. Working time runs to about 35 minutes, which is generous for an adhesive that needs no catalyst.

One-Part Versus Two-Part Adhesive
A two-component adhesive reaches its performance by chemical reaction once the hardener is added, which means a mixing step, a pot life to work against, and any mixed material left at the end is waste. An MS polymer adhesive like this cures with atmospheric moisture instead.
Practically that means no mixing, no wasted part-kits, and a part-used pail that can be resealed and used on the next job. The trade-off is the cure time of 24 to 48 hours, so the floor is not back in full service the same day.

How to Apply
- Prepare — The subfloor must be clean, dry, sound and free of contaminants before the adhesive goes down.
- Choose the trowel — Notch size follows the backing. Smooth-backed LVT takes a V1, textured backs a V2, and heavily textured products a V3 or larger.
- Spread — Work in areas you can cover within the open time of 5 to 20 minutes.
- Lay and roll — Set the covering in and roll to achieve full transfer to the backing.
- Cure — Allow 24 to 48 hours before the floor goes into full service.
Important Notes
- Coverage depends entirely on the trowel notch, which in turn depends on the backing. Confirm the rate for your covering before ordering quantities.
- Always test for suitability on the specific covering being installed.
- Store sealed. Shelf life is 12 months at 20 degrees.
