Description
Dy-Mark PROTECH Multi-Purpose Lubricant penetrates, lubricates, protects and displaces moisture across a genuinely wide range of jobs around the home, garden and garage. Its fast penetration breaks away rust and corrosion to free rusted parts, making it a practical first step for nuts, bolts, taps, pipe fittings and valves that have seized over time.
Beyond freeing stuck components, it lubricates to restore working parts and stop squeaks in bikes, hinges, locks and garden tools, and protects against ongoing rust and corrosion on tools, dies, garden equipment and sporting equipment once applied. Its moisture-displacing micro-thin continuous film is particularly useful for electrical applications — distributors, starter motors, spark plugs, leads and electrical connections — where keeping moisture out is critical to reliable operation.
Being silicone-free matters for surfaces that will later be painted, bonded or refinished, since silicone residue can interfere with adhesion in ways a silicone-based lubricant risks. Its patented 2-way actuator with locking tab and 360° valve allows spraying in both upright and inverted positions, reaching awkward angles without repositioning the item being treated, and the lock position prevents accidental actuation once the job is done.
Its patented 2-way actuator and 360° valve genuinely set it apart from a standard aerosol lubricant nozzle, letting it spray effectively even when a can needs to be held upside-down to reach an awkward angle underneath a vehicle or piece of equipment. Being silicone-free also makes it the safer choice ahead of any painting or refinishing work, where silicone contamination is a well-known cause of paint adhesion failure.
Keeping a can in the garage or garden shed means squeaky hinges, seized garden tool joints and light surface rust are all quick, low-effort fixes rather than jobs that get put off for lack of the right product on hand.

Where to Use
- Rusted nuts, bolts, taps, pipe fittings and valves
- Bikes, hinges, locks and garden tools
- Distributors, starter motors, spark plugs and electrical connections
How to Apply
- De-activate and isolate equipment — before use.
- Shake the can well — and shake occasionally during use.
- Spray a liberal coating — directly onto corroded surfaces, saturating the problem area.
- Apply a light coat for protection — to seal out moisture on surfaces not requiring heavy penetration.
- Lock the actuator when finished — to prevent accidental spraying.
Important Notes
- Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.
- Refer to the product’s Safety Data Sheet before use.
- Use the extension tube for hard-to-reach areas.
