CRC White Zinc Coating pairs the rust-inhibiting properties of zinc with a tough, flexible enamel finish in a satin white that conforms to recognised safety colour standards. High levels of anti-corrosive zinc complexes sit embedded within the resin system itself, giving the coating genuine corrosion resistance from within the film rather than relying purely on a surface barrier the way a conventional paint does.
That distinction matters most once a coated surface is scratched or damaged — a standard paint system typically undercuts and blisters as corrosion spreads beneath the intact coating around the damage, while White Zinc’s zinc-enriched chemistry actively resists that spread. Priming the metal surface with CRC Zinc It beforehand is recommended for ultimate protection, with CRC Prep It available as an intermediate coat where a heavier film build is needed.
Drying is genuinely fast — touch dry within 20 minutes, recoatable within 30, and fully cured in 24 hours — applied in a single coat with no over-coating required. Its Corrosion Protection Factor of 36 delivers up to 3 years of protection before recoating under normal conditions, with more demanding environments requiring more frequent reapplication; ongoing maintenance simply means recoating over the existing film or a clean surface.

Where to Use
- Bare metal surfaces requiring safety-colour coding

How to Apply
- Prime if maximum protection is required — apply CRC Zinc It to the bare metal surface first.
- Shake the can — until the agitator ball moves freely, then for at least 1 further minute.
- Apply thin coats — with smooth, even strokes, holding the can approximately 25cm from the surface.
- Clean the valve — turn the can upside down and press the button until only pressure escapes.
- Allow to cure — touch dry in 20 minutes, full cure in 24 hours.
