Description
CRC Syntha-Tech Lubricant with PTFE is a non-flammable, zero VOC blend of synthetic lubricants formulated with PTFE, anti-wear and extreme pressure additives for unparalleled lubricating performance across a genuinely wide range of mechanical equipment. Its long-lasting film minimises surface contact between moving parts, which directly extends how long a lubrication interval can safely run before reapplication is needed.
Being NSF H1 registered for incidental food contact — specifically validated for meat and poultry facilities — puts it in the same food-safe category as CRC’s other H1-rated products, suitable anywhere accidental contact with food is a genuine possibility. Its lower viscosity film penetrates deeply into cracks, crevices and joints to lubricate and protect exposed metal, working across an extreme -40°C to 450°F temperature range that covers both cold storage and hot processing equipment.
The lower-viscosity film is a deliberate design choice rather than a general lubricant property — it lets Syntha-Tech work its way into tight cracks, crevices and joints that a thicker grease simply can’t reach, while the PTFE and extreme-pressure additives keep the resulting film protective under real mechanical load. Its wide -40°C to 232°C operating range and non-flammable, zero-VOC formulation make it a genuine multi-environment lubricant rather than one suited to a narrow temperature band.
It’s also worth checking the product’s Safety Data Sheet alongside the S.D.L. Safety Data Label for full handling guidance, since the NSF H1 registration covers only incidental food contact and doesn’t extend to deliberate application on food-contact surfaces.

Where to Use
- Bearings, gears, linkages, motors, chains and cables
- Rollers, guide bars, pulleys, cams, valves, ball joints and hinges
- Cutting tools, taps, dies and pistons
- Handling equipment, conveyors, hoists, lifts, doors and fans
- Food processing equipment requiring NSF H1 rated lubrication
How to Apply
- Identify the lubrication point — the mechanism or fitting requiring lubrication or protection.
- Apply a light, even coat — spray directly onto the target component.
- Allow to penetrate — let the lower-viscosity film work into cracks, crevices and joints.
- Reapply per extended intervals — take advantage of the long-lasting film to extend time between reapplications.
Important Notes
- The S.D.[L.] Safety Data Label provides instant access to current safety information should an accident occur.
- Refer to the product’s Safety Data Sheet for full handling and hazard information.
- NSF H1 rating covers incidental food contact, not deliberate application to food-contact surfaces.
