Description
Soudal T-Rex Power Crystal Adhesive is a high quality, crystal clear, neutral, elastic 1-component adhesive based on SMX-Polymer, built specifically for transparent and invisible bonding applications where a visible adhesive line would be a genuine problem. Its crystal clear formulation gives excellent adhesion on nearly all surfaces, even those that are slightly moist, without leaving the yellow or cloudy line a lesser clear adhesive can develop over time.
Being free of isocyanates, solvents, halogens and acids, it offers very good mechanical characteristics alongside genuine safety benefits for the applicator, and it remains permanently elastic after curing rather than becoming brittle. Containing ZnP, a biocide with fungicidal action, it’s impervious to mould and suitable for sanitary applications — though regular cleaning of the joint is still needed, since excessive contamination or soap residue can encourage fungal growth regardless of the adhesive’s own resistance.
Supplied in a 290ml cartridge with good extrudability even at low temperatures, it can be painted with most water-based paints once cured, though testing compatibility first is recommended. It carries good UV resistance, though discolouration can occur under extreme conditions, very long UV exposure, or even a total absence of UV — this doesn’t affect the adhesive’s technical performance, just its clear appearance. It conforms to LEED requirements for Low-Emitting Materials under SCAQMD Rule 1168.
Because it’s not suitable for expansion joints or as a glazing sealant, it’s genuinely best reserved for its intended invisible bonding role, where its transparency and elasticity are the whole point rather than a secondary benefit.

How to Apply
- Prepare the substrate — rigid, clean, free of dust and grease.
- Prime if required — porous surfaces with Primer 150.
- Apply with a caulking gun — manual or pneumatic.
- Clean immediately — with Fix ALL Cleaner while uncured; cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
- Finish before skinning — with a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution.
Important Notes
- Not suitable for expansion joints or as a glazing sealant.
- Not suitable for bonding aquariums or use on natural stone.
- Avoid contact with bitumen, tar or plasticiser-releasing materials such as EPDM, neoprene and butyl.
