One drum for both surfaces: Ultrabond Eco MS 4LVT bonds LVT, SPC and rigid LVT on walls as readily as floors, rated for chair-castor stress and constant wet-area exposure alike.

Description

Ultrabond Eco MS 4LVT Wall&Floor is a one-component, silylated polymer adhesive built specifically for LVT, SPC and rigid LVT, on both walls and floors — a genuinely broader specification than most flooring-only adhesives, extending to FRP finishing panels and rubber wall coverings as well. Its shear and peel adhesion strength, combined with dimensional stability, make it particularly suited to LVT flooring where movement or lifting at the seams is a real failure mode with lesser adhesives.

Being highly resistant to shear loads is what lets it handle genuinely demanding commercial conditions — floors exposed to direct sunlight, intense forklift traffic, or constant water exposure in communal kitchens and showers. Its EN 12529 chair-castor rating extends that durability to office and healthcare environments, where repeated point-loading from rolling office chairs is a common cause of adhesive failure over time.

Where to Use

  • LVT, SPC and rigid LVT in tiles and planks, on walls and floors
  • PVC and vinyl floor and wall coverings, sheets and tiles
  • Textile floor coverings, needle-punch, flocked and linoleum flooring
  • FRP panels on walls (finishing only, not structural strengthening)
  • Communal kitchens, showers and other constantly wet floors

How to Apply

  1. Prepare the substrate — properly prepared, absorbent or non-absorbent substrates as required.
  2. Select the correct trowel — TKB A1/A2 or B1 depending on substrate flatness and backing type.
  3. Spread within the open time — apply within 40-50 minutes, adjusted for temperature and humidity.
  4. Lay the flooring or wall covering — press firmly for full transfer to the backing.
  5. Allow to set — light foot traffic possible after 5 hours.

Important Notes

  • Waiting and open times may vary with temperature and relative humidity — shorter in warmer conditions.
  • Not for use of FRP in structural strengthening applications.
  • For professional use only.

Rating an adhesive for both walls and floors, rather than one or the other, genuinely simplifies specification on a job using the same LVT or vinyl product across both surfaces — one adhesive covers the entire installation rather than switching between a floor-rated and a wall-rated product partway through. That single-product simplicity is a genuine time and cost saver on a job with matching wall and floor LVT, rather than managing two separate adhesive orders and application methods for what’s visually one continuous surface.
