Description
The Hot Devil Brazing Torch Kit is an oxygen brazing and cutting torch, genuinely different from a standard hand-held torch because it’s designed to run simultaneously with an oxygen cylinder alongside a Trade Map Gas or Propane cylinder. That oxygen supply is what pushes flame temperature up to 2926°C — far hotter than a standard Trade Map or Propane torch running on fuel gas alone — which is why the kit demands real familiarity with its operation before first use.
Safe operation depends on a few non-negotiable rules: never ignite the torch while oxygen is flowing, always turn off the oxygen valve before the fuel valve when shutting down, and never operate with a flame shorter than 6mm, since a too-short flame can overheat the mixing tube and cause flame outage or flashback. The stable cylinder stand supplied with the kit is also part of the safety system — an improperly positioned stand can tip and let liquid fuel enter the hose, creating a dangerous flare.

How to Apply

- Maintain a safe flame length — do not operate with a flame shorter than 6mm.
- Shut down correctly — always turn OFF the oxygen valve before the fuel valve.
Important Notes
- Do not permit grease or oil to contact any part of the torch, hoses or cylinders, particularly the oxygen side — oxygen can cause grease or oil to burn uncontrollably.
- Inspect hoses before each use for tears, cuts, frays or other damage; do not use if any are found.
- Never point the torch toward the cylinders or let the flame deflect onto them.
- Keep out of reach of children and anyone who has not read the full instruction manual.
Running an oxygen-boosted torch changes the risk profile compared with a standard fuel-only hand torch, which is why the manual’s shutdown sequence — oxygen off first, then fuel — isn’t a minor procedural note but the single most important safety habit to build.
