Description
CRC Evapo-Rust is a ready-to-use rust remover that works by soaking rather than scrubbing, grinding or wire-brushing. Submerge a rusted steel or iron part and the solution dissolves the rust chemically, which reaches into pitting and threaded fittings that mechanical abrasion can’t get into cleanly.
Because it targets rust specifically, it won’t affect plastic, PVC, paint or most non-ferrous metals — a real practical advantage when a rusted part is still attached to, or assembled with, components you don’t want stripped or damaged in the process. The solution also stays usable after the first job: soak, rinse, and reuse the same batch until it’s saturated with dissolved rust.

How to Apply
- Submerge the part — place the rusted item fully into the ready-to-use liquid, or apply the spray gel where immersion isn’t practical.
- Allow it to soak — leave the part in the solution until the rust has dissolved; heavier rust takes longer.
- Rinse — remove the part and rinse with clean water.
- Dry and protect — dry the part promptly, since bare steel can flash-rust again if left wet.
- Reuse the solution — return the used liquid to storage for the next job, until it’s saturated.
Important Notes
- Compatible with plastic, PVC and most paints, but always spot-test an unfamiliar material first.
- The solution’s rust-removing capacity is finite; once saturated, replace it.
