Description
Tahiti Turquoise Gloss is a wall tile for designing around water. Dune based its Tahiti pool series on the landscapes of a Pacific island and a surface recalling Balinese stone. This glossy turquoise version is an 8mm porcelain square, 147x147mm, printed across 25 faces so a wall reads as stone rather than repeat pattern.
Water absorption is E ≤ 0.5% under UNE EN ISO 10545-3, breaking strength is over 35 N/mm², and it passes frost resistance. Its swimming pool chemical resistance of A describes how it copes with pool water, not grip. Dune publishes no slip result for this finish, so use it on pool walls, waterlines and water features, never on pool floors, steps, surrounds or wet floors. Tahiti Turquoise Anti-Slip is the Class 3 option for those areas, subject to confirming its rating.

How to Apply
- Prepare the wall: firm, level, dry and clean, with moisture under 2% and dips over 2mm levelled.
- Use C2 adhesive: Dune’s grade for porcelain; test two pieces first.
- Comb and bed: about 3mm of adhesive combed with a no. 3 notched trowel, each tile set while it is soft, no dot and dab.
- Space the tiles: 2mm minimum joints, 3mm on unstable or high thermal movement surfaces, self-levelling spacers and offsets of no more than 25%.
- Grout and clean: clean, dry joints, a wet sponge or neutral pH cleaner, no abrasives; epoxy grout in water areas.
Colour and Finish
The turquoise shifts in tone across 25 faces and the irregular texture catches light under the gloss. Blend tiles from several boxes as you lay. Tahiti also comes in Emerald, each colour in Gloss and Anti-Slip.
