Description
Walls of water, spa zones and pools are the settings Dune names for the non-slip version of its Tahiti series, and Tahiti Emerald Anti-Slip brings that finish in green: an 8mm matt porcelain square, 147x147mm, with 25 faces echoing Balinese stone, from Dune.
The sheet records Class 3 under UNE-EN 16165 Annex C, R11 under Annex B, Class C (barefoot) under Annex A, over 36 PTV wet under BS 7976-2 and DCOF over 0.65 under ANSI A326.3. Dune’s use key permits Class 3 products on pool steps and floors under 1.5m depth, subject to confirming the requirement for each step, surround or wet area with the pool builder or specifier. None of these results is an Australian rating.

Where to Use
- Pool steps and floors less than 1.5m deep, reserved by Dune for Class 3 tiles; check that pool’s requirement
- Walls of water and spa zones, with floor slip needs confirmed
- Pool surrounds and outdoor floors, with the slip requirement confirmed
- Shower floors, once that shower’s slip requirement is confirmed
- Indoor floors over underfloor heating, slip needs confirmed
- High vapour condensation spaces
How to Apply
- Ready the surface: sound, dry, clean, level within 2mm, moisture below 2%.
- Select the adhesive: C2 cementitious, with a trial of at least two tiles.
- Bed the tiles: a 3mm approx. coat notched with a no. 3 trowel, tiles pressed into it while soft.
- Mind the joints: minimum 2mm, 3mm on unstable substrates, with self-levelling spacers and offsets of 25% or less.
- Grout and maintain: epoxy grout in water areas, excess lifted before it hardens, neutral pH cleaning only.
Colour and Finish
The emerald ranges through several greens, and the matt, irregular texture reads closer to stone than the gloss does. Mix a few boxes. Emerald Gloss suits pool walls in the same colour.
